First National Corp. had its beginnings in Jan 1980 as Big Bite Inc., a fast-food restaurant operation, by Nicholas C Moraitis. At its peak there were 27 restaurants.
On April 8, 1982 Big Bite purchased 22 Arthur Treaters Fish and Chips, the 13 in Columbus continued for a while before converting. By Feb 1983 they had 13 in Columbus,
The company left that business in Jan 2 1984, and spent the next three years disposing of its restaurant operations and reviewing potential acquisition candidates. Big Bite changed its named in 1985 to First National.
