Big Bite

First National Corp. had its beginnings in Jan 1980 as Big Bite Inc., a fast-food restaurant operation, by Nicholas C Moraitis. At its peak there were 27 restaurants.

On April 8, 1982 Big Bite purchased 22 Arthur Treaters Fish and Chips, the 13 in Columbus continued for a while before converting. By Feb 1983 they had 13 in Columbus,

The company left that business in 1983 and spent the next three years disposing of its restaurant operations and reviewing potential acquisition candidates. Big Bite changed its named in 1985 to First National.
