This Restaurant and Bake Shop was located at 1321 Morse Road, and opened in early 1970 as one of four in the test-chain.
Treehouse Restaurants closed in 1974, but General Mills went on to buy and hugely expand the small Orlando-based Red Lobster chain in the early 70’s, & then founded the Olive Garden chain in 1982, which as we know, have been great successes.
The location quickly became a Brown Derby in August 1974, In 1993 the place was torn down and a Pep Boys automotive center was built at the site, currently an Advance Auto Parts.
