Flakey Jake’s was a chain of restaurants known for its “Burgers, Bakery & Beverages,” offering made-to-order burgers and a self-serve toppings bar with freshly baked goods like cookies and brownies.
The location at 1748 E. Dublin-Granville Rd opened Feb 21, 1984, and closed in March 1992. It was 600 square feet and could seat 225 guests, The design inside resembled a turn of the century main street.
FYI: The first Fuddruckers opened across from Eastland Mall @ 4401 Crossroads Ct in September 1984.
